A talk hosted by the Putney’s Society’s Buildings Panel
January 24, 2025 There is a chance to learn what practical steps that you can take to live a greener life at a forthcoming meeting hosted by the Buildings Panel of the Putney Society. "Living Greener - Practical Steps You Can Take" is the subject of the Putney Society Open Meeting taking place on Monday 27 January at 7.30pm at the Community Church, Werter Road, SW15 2LL. From recycling to heat pumps, ‘green’ technology has moved on by leaps and bounds. With the help of Toby Costin from CREW Energy and local ‘Green Register’ architect Andrew Catto the evening aims to offer ideas of things you can do, answers and guidance ranging from simple actions for today, through greener gardens to energy efficiency and renewable generation for your home, before and after the gas goes off. The society last held a meeting on this subject 12 years ago and it aims to present an up-to-date view including dealing with some of the challenges of updating existing housing stock.
