35-year-old Main, poured beer over a woman’s head and called her an 'Aussie slut' when she rejected his advances. Main, who is married, was sacked from his job as a solicitor at investment firm Schroders two days after he was convicted at the start of January.

District Judge Barbara Barnes gave Main a 12-month community order and ordered him to sign the sex offenders register for five years. He was also given a restraining order, banning him from contacting the woman for five years and ordered to pay £1,000 in costs and a £85 victim surcharge.
