As if proof were needed of the explosion in popularity of performing arts’ skills among the UK’s children – the on-going success of Britain’s Got Talent, X Factor and The Voice being the ultimate examples – the well-known UK wide Little Voices performing arts school is opening
up in Wandsworth bringing its professional singing and acting lessons to local students.

Little Voices Wandsworth, running from Swaffield Primary School will be opening its doors with a special launch event, staging two afternoons of free workshop taster sessions on Thursday 5th and 12th November.

Principal of neighbouring Little Voices Putney, Fulham and Richmond Ashlea Pearson’ who is a professional singer and songwriter with a wealth of performing experience and lives just around the corner in Putney says this will be a major boost to the level of acting and singing skills training in Wandsworth and the surrounding areas.

The Worshipful the Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Nicola Nardelli said:
“Little Voices is a marvellous organisation offering unique opportunities to talented young people with their specialism in performing arts, building
confidence and teaching new skills to so many. I applaud their services.”

Managing Director, Jane Maudsley commented:
“Ashlea is an absolute asset to our team of Little Voices principals, she is motivated, passionate and an extremely talented principal and vocal tutor. It is wonderful to welcome Ashlea to Little Voices Fulham, Ashlea strives to provide lessons that engage her pupils and challenge them at every level and is bound for super success. I am sure even more children and their parents in Fulham will soon be benefiting from our unique methods of teaching and I look forward to hearing about their next examination results through The London Academy Of Music & Dramatic Art’.” she said.

“At Little Voices children are taught within a unique framework of Drama and Singing lessons
of Distinction, in groups of no more than six pupils working towards highly respected and
accredited Musical Theatre, Drama, Acting and Communication Examinations through
L.A.M.D.A. Little Voices hold a 100% pass rate, 98% at Merit & Distinction. They pride
