Police Investigating Attempted Abduction Of Wandsworth School Pupil

An eleven year old pupil at West Hill Primary School on Merton Road SW18, reported that someone had grabbed her arm and tried to get her into a car on Friday May 20th at about 3.30pm.

The driver of the car is described as a black male, over 6ft, in his twenties. He was driving a dark coloured Volvo.

A spokesperson for the Met police confirmed that detectives are investigating the report and that so far no arrests have been made.

Extra high visibility patrols have been positioned in the area and the Met ask that parents and carers continue to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
