Anyone wanting to experience an Arabian night-themed evening in aid of two charities should grab the last remaining tickets.
The Arabian Nights event at the town hall’s civic suite features displays by the Arabian Dance Theatre, a three-course Middle Eastern buffet and drinks, and a fundraising raffle.
The evening has been organised in support of the Mayor of Wandsworth’s (Councillor Jane Cooper’s) chosen charities – St George's Hospital Charity and Age UK Wandsworth.
Spaces are limited and tickets have started to go quickly.
It takes place at the civic suite at 7.30pm on Friday, May 11th. Tickets cost £40, which covers all food, drink and entertainment.
Members of the public wanting to be there on the night can book a place by emailing Pat Battista, the mayor’s secretary, on pbattista@wandsworth.gov.uk, or calling 020 8871 6044.
Any resident or business who wants to help the two charities by donating a raffle prize can also do so by contacting the mayor’s secretary.
St George's Hospital Charity supports the work being carried out by St George’s Healthcare Trust – which runs one of the country’s largest teaching hospitals, treating more than 500,000 patients every year. For more information visit www.givingtogeorges.org.uk .
