Time to Talk Day on Thursday 5th February
Local help is available to Wandsworth residents experiencing stress, low mood and emotional difficulties, says NHS Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). To coincide with national Time to Talk Day on Thursday 5th February 2015, NHS Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group is reminding Wandsworth residents they can self-refer to the talking therapies mental health service in the borough by calling 020 3513 6264 or emailing ssg-tr.WANIAPT@nhs.net Local GP and Chair of NHS Wandsworth CCG Dr Nicola Jones said, “At some point in our lives, we’ll find some emotions or experiences hard to deal with on our own – so please remember that help is available. Our Wandsworth talking therapies service can help you develop ways of coping, be more in control and find ways to overcome stress, low moods or emotional difficulties. Talking therapies offer an opportunity to build skills and techniques to help deal with your difficult emotions and experiences, and improve your quality of life.”
