Chance to celebrate Wandsworth’s businesses successes
The excitement is hotting up as the business community waits to find out which will be crowned as the borough’s best.
The Wandsworth Business Awards 2013, sponsored by The Tax Guys and the first to have been led by Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce, have been a great triumph with more than 100 businesses having taking part.
Shortlists for 11 categories have been drawn up and winners will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony which takes place at the Roehampton Club on Thursday, November 7, when guests will also discover the winner of the Business of the Year award.
A special finalists’ breakfast for shortlisted companies recently took place at the Roehampton Club while the contenders got a chance to impress at a judging day held at the Bedford pub near to Balham station.
Steve Pinto, chairman of Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce, said:
“The submissions have been of a tremendous quality and have demonstrated the vibrancy and diversity of our borough’s business community. We would like to congratulate all of the shortlisted companies - to have made it this far is a real achievement.”
The glittering awards evening, which will provide a fantastic opportunity to network with key members of the Wandsworth business community and you can still secure your seat to be part of the party. All guests will enjoy a drinks reception and a three-course meal with wine, followed by coffee and chocolates, as well as the awards ceremony. The event will be hosted by television and radio star Paul Ross – who co-hosts the Breakfast Show on BBC London 94.9 with Penny Smith.
