The Fire Garden is an illuminating, artistic tribute, delivered on a monumental scale, to Battersea Power Station before it is closed for redevelopment.

This is fire alchemy at its very best: the smell of wax, the hiss of steam, and the heat and glow of the multiple fires acknowledging and celebrating this iconic site's gritty, smoke belching, industrial past. Globes of fire and thousands of points of flickering flame will illuminate the Power Station as musicians play a mix of old style Parisian music with moody improvised sounds. |
The commission is only possible thanks to the support of public funding by the National Lottery through the Arts Council's Exceptional award programme, funds from the Mayor of London and sponsorship from Battersea Power Station Development Company.
Tickets
The Fire Garden is a free but ticketed event. We expect it to be popular so tickets will be issued via a free public ballot. Winners will be picked at random and notified by email. The ballot closes midday Wednesday 27 August.
