Boris and Babs Cook Up A Storm In Wandsworth For The Big Lunch

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, and Barbara Windsor MBE will be cooking up a storm with celebrity and award winning chefs Anthony Worrall Thompson, Levi Roots and Malcolm John, as Wandsworth residents get in the party mood for this year’s Big Lunch.
Local residents and kids will be cake decorating, barbequing and enjoying music from recording artist Jamie West - this is all happening at George Shearing Centre Esate Road, Clapham Junction, SW11 2TF.
The pair will be also be joined by an army of community spirited champions from across London, including chart-topping star Jazzie B, who will work alongside Barbara to make this year’s Big Lunch bigger and better.
The Big Lunch is an annual one-day get together where communities share lunch and enjoy a street party held on 5th June. At the time of going to press there are 10 Big Lunches in the SW15 area and 3 in the SW18 area.
