World Cup Call Ups at Putney High School
Two girls chosen to represent their nations in lacrosse

Year 13’s Sophie Allan has just captained England to victory in the U19 Home Internationals against Wales and Scotland. She is now working hard to secure a call up to the senior national team for the World Cup in 2017.
Meanwhile, Linnea Bengtsson, Year 11 , has been selected to represent Sweden at the 2013 Women’s Lacrosse world cup in Canada this summer.
Joining Linnea in Canada will be Putney’s lacrosse coaches, Miss Biondi, who is Sweden’s Head Coach and Miss Halliday, selected to represent Ireland.
