All new constables have experience of working in the Metropolitan Police in different roles. Cristine Williams is a former station reception officer who joins Fairfield Ward; Raza Hussain and Paul Sheddon are former police community support officers, who join Roehampton and Thamesfield Wards respectively.

Constable Sheddon said:
"It's great to be out on the streets, distrupting criminals and assisting the public. This is what I joined the job to do, and Putney and Wandsworth is a great area to learn my trade. I am looking forward to building relations with the community and becoming known on my ward."

Inspector Jayme Johnson said:
"It's a pleasure to welcome these brand new officers to the team. Their enthusiasm to face the challenges of policing in London is great to see. They are keen to make a difference to the lives of residents, businesses and visitors in Putney and Wandsworth. They will be supervised by experienced officers as they seek to put their training into practice. Cristine, Raza and Paul are the embodiment of the Met's plan to put more officers in neighbourhoods across London, and there will be more officers to follow in the coming weeks."
