Young Athletes Win Place At Central London Panathlon Finals | |||||
Pupils at special schools in Wandsworth will compete for a place in the All London Finals
Pupils from Greenmead, Linden Lodge, Oak Lodge and Paddock Junior and Senior schools did battle against other central London boroughs at Southfields Academy and turned in storming performances in sports including boccia, football, athletics and table cricket. Wandsworth will now face Lambeth, Camden and Islington in the Central London final on March 6. The winner will qualify for the All London final in June. The Panathlon Challenge gives disabled young people the opportunity to compete against their peers. It's run by the Panathlon Foundation, which works with schools across the UK to open up access to sport.
