Tube and train services affected by engineering works
If you are planning to travel over the weekend, the following line is affected by engineering works. There will be no service between Edgware Road and Aldgate via Victoria. This is to enable us to carry out track and drainage replacement work at Gloucester Road and station improvement work at Victoria and Sloane Square. Trains will not run between Earl’s Court and Embankment. This is to allow for track and drainage replacement work at Gloucester Road and station improvement work at Victoria and Sloane Square. Westminster - From 18:00 on Friday until 05:00 on Saturday, there will be lane restrictions in both directions on Edgware Road. Parking restrictions will also be in place. This is due to a parade. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination. Lambeth - From 06:00 on Saturday until 22:00 on Sunday, road closures will be in place around Brockwell Park. This is due to an event. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination. Farringdon - On Sunday, there will be various road closures in the Farringdon area. These include Back Hill, Summers Street, King Edward Street and Warner Street between 06:00 and 16:30 and Rosebery Avenue, Farringdon Road and Clerkenwell Road between 15:30 and 17:00. This is due to a procession. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination. Rotherhithe and Canary Wharf - On Sunday, there will be road closures in place for a sporting event. From 08:00 Brunel Road, Rotherhithe Tunnel, Westferry Road and Aspen Way will be closed. From 09:00, Swan Road and Rupack Street will also be closed. Rotherhithe Tunnel and Brunel Road will re-open at 13:00. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination.
