Richard Tracey AM has welcomed news that Wandsworth commuters, who use the London Waterloo – Windsor & Eton Riverside Line, are to enjoy longer train platforms. The platforms that will be lengthened to allow 10-carriage trains to stop there include: Platforms 3 and 4 at Clapham Junction Platforms 2 and 4 at Putney Station All the platforms at Wandsworth Town Platforms 2 and 3 at Queenstown Road Commenting, London Assembly Member for Wandsworth and Merton, Mr Tracey said: “This is great news for anyone who uses the trains in Wandsworth. We have some of the most congested trains in the country and so anything that goes towards improving the situation is fantastic.”
