Public Consultation closes 6th December

Public Consultation has been launched by the Home Office, Office for Security and Counter Terrorism. Your opinion is of value and we are hoping that a wide range of people will engage with this consultation.

The police are aware that Schedule 7 has raised concerns within some communities and your feedback will help to shape legislation and operation of Schedule 7 into the future.

In his recent report David Anderson QC (the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation) recommended that representatives of communities most affected by Schedule 7 ‘to take full advantage of the opportunity that the consultation will afford to put their views and experiences across, in as specific a manner as possible’.
