Angela Graham takes seat with 1139 votes

The results have been announced for the by election for the ward of Earlsfield.

Angela Graham won 4,218 votes, The Labour's candidate Paul White came second with 3,079 votes.

Independant councillor Malcolm Grimston tweeted: "Great to see Angela Graham, excellent public servant, back in the Council Chamber. The kind who gives politics a good name."

The by-election was caused due to the death of Adrian Knowles in February. Mr Knowles had battled with cancer and died aged 58-years-old.
