Two Children Found Dead In Wandsworth House

Woman in her 30's has been arrested

Inquiries are underway after the death of two children in Wandsworth.

Police were called to an address in Killarney Road, SW18 at 19:25hrs on Wednesday 9 May.

The London Ambulance Service also attended but a 10-week-old boy and a 14-month-old girl were pronounced dead at the scene.

Post-mortem examinations will take place in due course. Next of kin are aware.

A woman in her mid-30s was arrested on suspicion of murder. She is currently in custody at a south London police station.

Detectives from the Child Abuse Investigation Command are leading the investigation, and inquiries continue into the full circumstances of the incident.
