Wandsworth Police are appealing to trace a man who has absconded whilst being sectioned under the mental health act.

27 year old Dominic Tamblyn, was being treated at St Georges Hospital, SW17 when he escaped at approx 13.20 on Monday, 28 May.

He is currently remanded into secure accommodation at Springfield Hospital, Wandsworth for a period of assessment after being charged with attempted arson, making a bomb hoax and possession of points of blades after an incident on the 19 December 2011 in a book shop in Brewer St, W1.

He is described as dangerous and members of the public are advised not to approach him and call police on 999.

He is described as white, 6ft 4inches tall with long brown hair and a large wispy beard.

He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, white sleeveless vest, dark tracksuit bottoms and black trainers with yellow and green trim.

Tamblyn is known to areas across London and Surrey.
