Elderly Man Found In Thames At Putney Bridge | |||||
Police treating death as non-suspicious
Police were called to Putney Bridge SW6 at about 8.30am on Wednesday 13 February, to reports of a man in his seventies in the river. About fifty minutes late the man was recovered from the water by lifeboat crews and taken to Putney pier. London Ambulance Service took the man to Charing Cross Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A formal identification has not yet been made. Enquiries continue but the death is being treated as non-suspicious.
