NHS Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is launching a new telephone and online information service to help people easily find out about health and wellbeing services in the borough. The helpline is called Wandsworth Wellbeing Hub and is part of a drive by the CCG to help people stay well at home and out of hospital.

Dr Nicola Jones, Chair of the CCG, said
“There are so many fantastic services in Wandsworth to help people improve their health and wellbeing but our patients were coming into their GP surgery not knowing about them.

“Wandsworth Wellbeing Hub not only gives local residents information about NHS run courses, self-help groups and lifestyle services, but also holds a huge database of information about services run by community groups, voluntary organisations and the Council.

She continued
“The Hub is the gateway to a superb range of really helpful, practical information and support available at the click of a button or one telephone call. We hope this kind of community resource will give people access to the support they are looking for to get healthier, reduce social isolation and improve feelings of wellbeing.”

Community Navigators are available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, on 020 8812 6700 or simply visit the website www.wandsworthccg.nhs.uk/hub.
