The Bricklayer’s Arms, which has been awarded CAMRA’s (Campaign For Real Ale)prestigious 'South West Pub of the Year' three times and 'Greater London Pub of the Year' twice in the last six years, is a family-owned, independent pub loved by locals and Real Ale drinkers for its unpretentious atmosphere.

Landlady, Becky Newman, is absolutely thrilled with The Bricklayer’s Arms’ latest accolade:
“To be named one of the top three pubs in England by National Geographic is a real honour. I am delighted and I would like to thank all my staff and customers for their support over the last six years. I would also like to thank National Geographic.”

Becky, who is passionate about offering her customers a wide selection of real ales (and English wines) is now in the process of preparing for her next Beer Festival, which will run from Wednesday, 22nd – Sunday, 26th February.

“Our annual Yorkshire Beer Festival is enormous fun. We showcase over one hundred real ales, ciders and perries over five days, “says Becky.

The Festival also provides entertainment with music and traditional Morris dancers. “There is a real country festival feel to it,” says Becky.  “It is a great chance to try out some fantastic real ales you don’t normally come across in London!” She added.
