Significant traffic disruption is likely this weekend (Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February) due to the closure of Putney Bridge Road (A3209).

The road needs to be closed because of crane operations that are taking place on both days between 9am and 6pm.

The delays on the road are likely to be further increased due to Hammersmith Bridge also being closed this weekend. It will be shut from 8am on Saturday 15th to 5am on Monday 17th February.

On Sunday there are also engineering works affecting local train services. South West Trains will not be operating between Barnes and Feltham and London Overground services are also affected.

Hammersmith Bridge is also having various closures in place until the end of the month. The
southbound lane over bridge will be closed for repairs every weekday, from 7am to 3pm. Southbound traffic is being diverted via Fulham Palace Road and Putney Bridge. Northbound diversions at weekends to Chiswick Bridge.

In addition ongoing A4 Hammersmith Flyover Phase 2 refurbishment is ongoing until April 2015. The road will be closed eastbound for works from 10.30pm to 5am every night. More details at www.tfl.gov.uk/hammersmithflyover
