A torrent of water flowed rapidly down Putney Hill from before 10.00 on Saturday [possibly much earlier] until 4.00 on Sunday. |

| This is the scene at the intersection of Cambalt Road and Putney Hill mid-morning Saturday. This driver was more than a little surprised to find his path barred. The tape came down later in the day. Walking down the west pavement was impossible all day. |
