Thames Philharmonic Choir: Come-and-Sing

An invitation for potential new members to come and give it a go

Participate

The Thames Philharmonic Choir invites singers to join them for a come-and-sing Open Rehearsal on 25th September at Granard School, Westleigh Avenue, Putney SW15 6XA at 7.30 pm.

Come-and-sing rehearsals give potential new members the opportunity to experience singing with the Choir and to familiarise themselves with the music to be included in the next concert - on this occasion, a December concert at St Andrew's Church, Surbiton, featuring Bach’s Jesu, meine Freude (Jesu, priceless Treasure), part of the Messiah and Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols.

Membership of Thames Philharmonic Choir is by audition and new members may join at any time – full-time students may join free of charge. Rehearsals take place regularly on Tuesdays at 7.30 pm and alternate between Granard School and the Raleigh Road United Church, Raleigh Road, Richmond TW9 2DX. Anyone interested should contact the Membership Secretary Sue Ready, on 020 8979 5054 or at: membership@thamesphilchoir.org.uk
