| Roehampton Garden Society Holding Its Summer Show |

Allotments being opened to the public as part of the National Garden Scheme
June 5, 2025 There will be a chance to visit one of the allotments managed by the Roehampton Garden Society when it holds its summer show. The public is invited to view exhibits of vegetables, fruits, flowers and plants from the plots next door to 18 The Pleasance (SW15 5HF). The event, which is enabled by the National Garden Scheme, is taking place on Saturday 21 June from 2pm to 5pm and entry costs £4. Teas and homemade cakes for sale as well as plants grown by plot holders which will be auctioned at 4:15pm. Bring along your own bags if you are planning to make purchases. Roehampton Garden Society (RGS) was founded in 1854, and it currently manages two allotment sites in Roehampton on behalf of Wandsworth Borough Council. Individual allotments are leased to members, who pay an annual rent. It aims to encourage productive cultivation of the land, whilst caring for the environment and encouraging wildlife and bees.
