Chief Executive of Wimbledon & Putney Commons Conservators guest speaker

The Open Spaces Panel of the Putney Society is hosting a meeting at 7.30pm, St Mary's Church on Wednesday 26 November.

The newly appointed Chief Executive of Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators, Mr Simon Lee, has been invited to give an illustrated talk on moving from being in charge of Hampstead Heath (employed by the City Of London Corporation) to taking over responsibility for Putney Heath, Putney Lower Common and Wimbledon Common. How is he settling into his new job? What have the challenges been? What are the differences between Hampstead Heath and Putney Heath? It promises to be an interesting talk about our treasured open spaces.
