Classic Rock magazine described 22 year old Laurence as "Blues Rocks youngest Talent" and his only UK gig will be at The Half Moon on 20th August 2014.

In October 2013 Laurence signed to one of the biggest blues record labels "Ruf Records" and in December 2013 they flew him out to America to record at the Legendary Dockside Studio in Louisiana, where artists such as B.B King and Derek Trucks have recorded.

Upon signing him to Ruf Records last October, label boss Thomas Ruf declared that Laurence was an "AAA" artist - "A" guitarist, "A" Singer and "A" Songwriter.

Walter Trout invited the band to support him on his 2013 U.K tour and he described Laurence
"as a cross between Eric Clapton & Buddy Guy he is a genius".

Laurence told PutneySW15 that:
"
I began playing the the classic guitar and by the age of 13 I owned my first electric guitar, this is when I discovered the Blues. It was a sense of freedom playing the Blues compared to the classic and I liked the fact that not everything was meant to be perfect, it was more about improvising and feeling. In the blues, you can do whatever you want and how ever you feel. I never play the same solo twice, note for note."

When asked who were his musical inspirations he answered:
"
I am influenced by many great artists such as Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. My all time hero has to be Mr Walter Trout. The 1st C.D my dad ever gave to me was the album "Transition" by Walter. I was very honoured to be invited on tour with Walter around the U.K in 2012 & 2013."

Walter Trout played guitar on the title track of Laurence's brand new album Temptation"

"Laurence is like a young Robin Trower, exciting and full of energy" - BBC Radio 2
