Putney’s community choir, the Dover House Singers, will return to the stage this December with a heartwarming Christmas Concert at St. Mary’s Church, High Street, Putney.
The performance takes place on Saturday 13 December at 7pm, and entry is free, making it the perfect way to kick off the festive season.
Expect an evening of joyful melodies, glowing harmonies, and the cozy warmth of voices raised in celebration.
The choir has been rehearsing for months and the programme brings together songs that celebrate friendship, hope, and the magic of Christmas. Songs to be performed include “You’ve Got A Friend” and the spiritual “Steal Away”, before the choir turns to some much-loved festive pieces. These include the timeless “When a Child is Born”, the beautiful “O Holy Night”, and the ever-popular “Fairytale of New York.”
