Natalie has been chosen to become a ‘Philly Local Hero’ – to represent London with her very own delicious recipe for Philadelphia, the UK’s number one cream cheese.  On top of this Natalie is one of two Philly Local Heroes to appear in the Philadelphia TV advertising from 21st March - so get used to seeing her face!!

Natalie, a mother of three was one of hundreds of applicants who submitted their own quick and easy recipes featuring Philly as a main ingredient for the chance to star in Philadelphia’s new campaign and share their recipe with the nation. Natalie’s Philly Leek Risotto includes her favourite ingredients grown on her very own allotment, but it is also quick to make – something which is particularly important when you have a husband and three children!

Natalie is one of ten Philly local heroes selected from across the country who will be featured on Philadelphia packs, in advertising and on the Facebook page – all from mid March.

Natalie says:
“It’s an honour to be a Philly Local Hero, I feel I’ve proved you can cook something that’s good value and easy, and you don’t have to rely on a ready meal. Philly is my secret weapon, if I’ve got it in the fridge I know I can make something the kids will eat.”

Judge & celebrity chief TV chef Ed Baines said:
“I was so impressed with the quality of recipes that were entered, but in particular with Natalie’s use of rosemary and leeks grown from her allotment! Her perfect combination of flavoursome ingredients result in a simple but tasty masterpiece.”

You can support Natalie and share her joy through food by trying her recipe, which you can find on www.facebook.com/philadelphiauk, where there will also be money-off coupons for a limited time. Why not leave a comment, or share your favourite recipe with the other fans – tell them why you “Love it”!
