Chemical Smells Report Brought Police Back To "Suicide Flat"

Neighbours in the flats in Pentlow Street contacted the Police on Sunday afternoon - a spokesman for the Police said:
"We were called back to the block of flats at around 2.45pm today following reports of chemical fumes."

Over the weekend the press have reported that both of the women involved in the "suicide pact" were sex workers - this has not been confirmed.

Officials at the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) launched an investigation into the case as one of he women had been a victim of harassment from a stalker.
