Mrs Ryall has worked in Wandsworth primary schools since 1969 and has been head of Our Lady of Victories for the last 21 years. This year she was awarded the OBE for her services to Education.

Executive member for children's services Cllr Kathy Tracey said:
"Congratulation to Mrs Ryall - she is an exceptional head teacher and we are extremely lucky to have her here in Wandsworth. Our Lady of Victories is one of the highest performing schools in the country and a cornerstone of the local community."

Margaret Ryall said:
"Obviously I am thrilled and very proud to receive an OBE; it was a wonderful surprise. For me the award is also recognition of the hard work and dedication of all the staff I have had the privilege of working alongside over the years."
