After 10 delightful years in Putney, The Barbara Stanley Gallery is now in the process of re-focusing the way in which the gallery operates. The art consultancy service which we offer in helping private homes to buy paintings and build art collections has proved so popular that we are expanding this aspect of the business.

There is also an increasing demand from corporate clients for our service in sourcing artwork. We will continue to bring an exciting schedule of exhibitions and events to our valued customers with works on display in the West End at 27 Connaught Street. Our presence in the Putney area will be retained with a selection of art works on display at the current address and at J Designs in Barnes.

The Barbara Stanley Gallery will be moving from the premises on the Upper Richmond Road at the end of this month and we are very pleased to announce that Rob Kelly and his partner Amanda Doherty will be opening a lovely café. We will be hosting a special event on Wednesday 24th August to say goodbye, and to introduce the new proprietors, Rob& Amanda to Putney.

A few words from the new proprietors:
“We are delighted to be opening up our new venture, Tried & True Espresso in Putney. Our vision is to create an antipodean style neighbourhood cafe featuring exceptional espresso beverages, fine leaf teas, freshly baked muffins, cakes and indulgent treats. A simple menu of brunch items and light lunches will follow next year."

Rob & Amanday continued:
"T&T Espresso will be a community destination where people who live, work and play in Putney can enjoy meeting friends in a relaxed, friendly and contemporary environment. The location and the premises are ideal for creating a cosy and relaxing space for people to step in and slow down any day of the week. Guests will also continue to enjoy Barbara's art which will adorn the walls of the new space maintaining a link between the gallery and the local community. T&T Espresso looks forward to welcoming you warmly in early November.”
