Voting in Putney began this morning as many early-morning commuters headed to the polling stations which opened at 7 a.m. The polling stations shut at 10 pm tonight. You can view the list of European Parliamentary candidates by visiting the London European Elections website The average turnout over the five wards in the last local election in 2010 was 57% though it is expected to be lower than that this time - the higher figure was due to a general election vote on the same day. (Borough wide the turnout in 2010 was 63%). There are 1,850 seats up for election in London and @londoncouncils will have the results http://bit.ly/1jwmoM8
