Voting in Putney began this morning as many early-morning commuters headed to the polling stations which opened at 7 a.m. The polling stations shut at 10 pm tonight.

The average turnout over the five wards in the last local election in 2010 was 57% though it is expected to be lower than that this time - the higher figure was due to a general election vote on the same day. (Borough wide the turnout in 2010 was 63%).
