Trains were delayed until 2am

Around 9pm on Staurday evening, South West Trains tweeted: 'Delays between London Waterloo and Putney until further notice - A person has been hit by a train near Putney. Because of this, there are delays of up to 60 minutes between London Waterloo and Putney.'

The delays continued until 2am on Sunday morning but services are back to normal.
