The Limbless Association - Find out more

The Limbless Association has received an IMPACT Award of £20,000 from GlaxoSmithKline, in collaboration with the King's Fund who were the assessors for this highly valued recognition of the Association's services to limbless people.

MP for Putney TONY COLMAN says: "The Head Office of the Limbless Association is in my constituency at the world-renowned Roehampton Rehabilitation Centre. I am delighted that their wonderful work has been recognised. I know from first-hand visits to the Centre that this generous additional funding will enable them to reach out still further, to limbless persons of all ages, to increase independence and improve quality of life."

Double amputee Limbless Association member Sam Gallop says: "Chairman Zafar Khan and his fellow trustees, and staff members Diana Morgan, Kiera Roche, Scott Richardson; Charlene Francis, and Grania Hyde-White, the very small team who do such effective work in collaboration with their 300 limbless peer support volunteers, have deservedly had their work recognised by the skilled appraisers from the King's Fund. They know what services are needed because all the Trustees and one-half of the staff are themselves limbless."
