Details of three new stores opening in Putney before Christmas have been unveiled by town centre manager Stephen Wallace.

Oliver Bonas has opened this week at 86 Putney High Street. This is a London-based gift shop and homeware store with local branches also at Battersea Wandsworth and East Sheen.

Laura Ashley will open this Friday, December 2 in Putney Bridge Road. This is part of the new Castle Court development at Putney Wharf.

Woolworths will open on December 9 in newly refurbished premises on the site of the old Iceland store in the High Street.

Stephen Wallace said:

"Only last week a new residents survey confirmed just how popular the town centre is for local shopping. It's great to see big brands like these moving to our area. All three new arrivals will bring something different to the Putney shopping scene."

As town centre manager Stephen works with the Putney Partnership to help attract investment to the area and guide improvements to the local shopping environment. The Partnership includes representatives from local business, Putney Society and the council.
