Academic excellence plays no part in this university league table, but teenagers looking for a place to study might think its results are just as impressive although their parents may not be too happy.

Based on a survey by Student Beans website, the University of Roehampton was named as the most amorous institution of higher education in the country.
The University romped to victory with scholars bedding an average of 6.32 partners since joining campus, the survey said.
The result means a meteoric rise for the university which has jumped from 99th last year to 1st in this year's sex rankings. Is there something in the water?
