Alex Stanbury labeled "toff" Nazi by The Sun

34 year old Alex Stanbury is adamant that he attended a zombie themed party dressed in German uniform not as a Nazi but as Claus von Stauffenberg, the German officer who attempted to assassinate Hitler in the failed 20 July plot of 1944.

Tom Cruise played the part of Claus von Stauffenberg in the 2008 film 'Valkyrie'.

Alex Stanbury who lives in Putney told The Sun:“I apologise to anyone that may have taken offence to it, that was not my intention. But in my defence I wasn’t a Nazi, I was Von Stauffenberg who tried to kill Hitler.”

Also at the party were Princess Beatrice and Prince Harry's girlfriend Cressida Bonas.
