Two fire engines at the scene on Sunday afternoon

Sirens are often heard in and around Putney - on Sunday afternoon the noise came from two engines attending a fire at The Body Shop on Putney High Street.

London Fire Brigade inform us that the fire was out when they arrived - they remained for approximately one hour to ensure the fire was totally extinguished. No one was hurt and very little damage was caused by the fire.
