An enthusiastic and sociable group of a capella singers (the Dover House Singers) who meet each Wednesday at 8pm at St Margarets Church in Putney Park Lane, Putney, is desperately trying to find a replacement for their adored conductor Ross Jelf so that they can continue to sing together as a group.

Ross is returning to Australia in the New Year after spending three years transforming the singers’ performance, while at the same time studying for a masters degree in choral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music. He was one of only four students from around accepted onto the 2 year course so the singers consider themselves privileged to have had him as their conductor.

The singers have always known that Ross would one day return to his home and there will be many tears when he finally departs. Now however they are looking for someone else to take his place. If therefore anyone is interested please do contact Janis Humberstone on 020 7694 1918 for further details.
