Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Roehampton last week have arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of murder. He has been taken to a South London police station for questioning.

A 15-year-old boy appeared in court earlier this week charged with murder and a 17-year-old male youth is being questioned at a south London police station.

The victim, who police believe to be Martin Thomas, was found with serious injuries at a property on Huntingfield Road in Roehampton, on Tuesday of last week (22nd April). The London Air Ambulance helicopter attended but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination revealed he died from a stab wound that punctured his lung.

Detective Chief Inspector Charlie King of the .Homicide and Major Crime Command said: "We are appealing for potential witnesses who saw anyone suspicious or any suspicious activity around the address at this time to please come forward."
