A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Roehampton.

Police were called at 8.15pm on Tuesday, 22 April, to an address in Huntingfield Road.

A seriously injured man, believed to be aged in his thirties, was found. The London Air Ambulance helicopter attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A formal identification has not yet been made. An incident room has opened at the Homicide and Major Crime Command under Detective Chief Inspector Charlie King.

DCI King said: "At this early stage we are keeping an open mind about any possible motive.

"We are appealing for potential witnesses who saw anyone suspicious or any suspicious activity around the address at this time to please come forward."

There have been no arrests.
