Speculation that the body was found barricaded in on top floor

A fire-engine & police were at Holroyd Rd all day on saturday & continue to be in attendance today, with the road now cordoned off. Residents having to report in and out to police officers as forensic teams continue to search the property.

The fire was reported at 5am on Friday 8th February and a body has been found in the building.


A post-mortem examination will be held in due course. Wandsworth officers are investigating and await formal ID.
