Police appeal for witnesses & information

On Thursday 3rd February 2011 two males were assaulted within minutes of each other during two separate unprovoked attacks.

The incidents happened on Bessborough Road and Holybourne Avenue on the Alton Estate in Roehampton at 23:35 pm.
Fortunately, neither of the males were seriously injured. The five suspects for this offence were all black males in their late teens to early twenties and were travelling around the estate in a dark BMW 5 series Estate.

DC Ware, the officer in the case said:
“Robbery appears to be the motive for the attacks. The victim’s, who are 19 and 39, were lucky to not have been more seriously injured. I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time who saw the vehicle or witnessed the attacks to call me at Wandsworth police station in confidence on 0208 247 8874.
