Furniture retailer on the Upper Richmond road is no more

Designer furniture retailer Rooms of London has confirmed that their shop at 278 Upper Richmond Road has closed permanently.

The premises had been closed for a couple of weeks leading to speculation about its future. Other retailers in the sector in the Putney area have complained about tough trading conditions and it is widely believed that the recession has brought about the closure.

A spokesperson for Rooms of London told PutneySW15.com, "It is with great sadness that we have decided to close the shops in Putney and Fulham. We would like to thank all the customers who supported us over the years."
