Metro Bank Opens Doors on Putney High Street

Putney residents, local businesses, families and even canines are invited to the Metro Bank launch party, complete with music, stilt walkers and much much more at 89-93 Putney High Street.

The 'store' will open seven-days-a-week, 362 days a year, from early in the morning until late at night. Metro Bank unveils its brand new London store with a two-day-long party on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 December.

The bank is inviting businesses, residents and four legged friends to join in its grand opening extravaganza. With celebrations kicking off at 8am on Friday, there will be something for everyone, from free manicures and face-painting, to music and popcorn.

The store will be officially opened by local Mayor Cllr Piers McCausland, who will be cutting the ribbon, alongside the bank’s Local Director, Anthony Hicks and Store Manager, Alex Willson.

The store will offer Magic Money Machines for customers and non-customers alike to count their coins free of charge, safe deposit boxes, instant account opening, and the ability to print new and replacement debit and credit cards on the spot. What’s more, appointments aren’t needed, meaning customers can pop in at a time convenient to them, with all Metro Bank stores open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Fridays, 8am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sundays and bank holidays, 362 days a year.
