Police
appeal for witnesses after a fatal traffic collision in Putney
On Saturday 3.7.04 at approximately 10.55 a Ford Transit Flat Bed was
turning right from Putney Heath Road into Carslake Road, SW15 when it
was in collision with a 125cc Motor Scooter driven by a 20-year-old local
man, Shuane Ramsay.
Shuane was taken to St Georges Hospital ITU but subsequently died of his
injuries.
PS Greg Page, leading the investigation, said:
�Whilst it is too early in the investigation to apportion blame this tragedy
must serve as a reminder of the great vulnerability of all two wheel users
on our roads and especially that of younger, more inexperienced riders.
Some witnesses have come forward already but we are appealing to anyone
who saw the incident or what they think might have led up to the incident
to contact us.�
