British Land has held a public exhibition to view proposals for the redevelopment of 56-70 Putney High Street, but it not too late to see the proposals and enter your feedback on line.

The site is located on Putney High Street bordered by Lacy Road, Felsham Road and Walker’s Place. The proposals are:

Retail:
New flexible retail units which are well designed to attract a mix of smaller retailers and multinationals that will appeal to Putney residents.


Residential:
Around 110 high quality new residential apartments, including affordable homes, proposed in a range of sizes including studio, one, two and three bedroom.

A private residential courtyard located above the retail units.

Private amenity space including winter gardens, balconies and roof terraces as well as children’s play space.

Underground parking spaces provided for residents.

Public Space:
New public square providing a high quality new community meeting space of significant size with access for all to replace the existing gym and children’s play centre.

Significant improvements to Putney High Street by bringing all frontages into active use wherever possible.

British Land, working with Grid Architects, is developing proposals for a mixed use scheme which includes retail units, new homes and a public square on Lacy Road.
