£28,000 paid for parking space behind flats off Carlton Drive

A garage in Putney has been sold for £28,000 at a property auction recently. The next lot at the same auction was a two bedroom split level flat in Liverpool which failed to meet the guide price of £25,000.

The single storey lock up garagee is located within Shelburne Court which lies off Carlton Drive and offers a rare chance of free parking in an area which is predominantly residents' parking. Only a few months earlier had changed ownership for £23,500.

Another garage on Kersfield Road sold recently for £15,000. The highest ever price paid for a parking space in Putney is believed to be £40,000 for a spot on Norroy Road in 2017 and £34,000 was paid for a garage in Cambalt Road in the same year.
