I walked in to the shop with nervous anticipation - art was not my forte at school and although I feel comfortable with creating with fabrics - floral works are not in my comfort zone!

Quickly at ease following a warm welcome from Julie the floral tutor & meeting my fellow attendees we were given a warming cup of coffee or tea and a quick health & saftey chat - their secateurs are a lot sharper than those found in my house!

My heart sank somewhat when Julie produced these thin wires and a box of wet moss - sticks leaves and wildlife included! but she then showed us how to add this & hey presto ...........
I had a moss covered ring......
We than made the back smooth and waterproof to protect your table or door........
The on went greenery the - all stripped and wired by us.... and then the ribbons, and finally the decorations

Time flew as we cut, stripped and inserted the greenery, wired the cinnanomon sticks /baubbles/frostred fruits/dried fruits interspersed with chatter about families, weddings and the number of guests each were having at Christmas (Edwina topped us all at 20 plus!!) weThe wreaths were all very individual - the beauty of making your own as you can see from the shots of Vicky and Edwina.
